The Medicaid Buy-In is a state-run program that allows people with disabilities under the age of 65 to work and still receive Medicaid benefits. The program allows people who would otherwise not be eligible for Medicaid—because their income or assets are too high—to buy in to the program by paying a premium. Not all states have Medicaid Buy-In.
